Dental Insurance and Financial Policy
Kansas City Kansas Dental Professionals will work with you to make paying for your dental care as affordable as possible. May convenient options exist to help you get the care you need. Payment is expected at the time of scheduling your service. We work with most major dental insurance carriers and our accounting staff will attempt to maximize your benefits to offset your out of pocket expense.
Insurance
We are in network with these major insurance carriers- Aetna,BCBS, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, MetLife, Principal, UHC. We accept PPO’s only! WE DO NOT ACCEPT DMO’s OR MEDICARE. We accept SUNFLOWER Kansas Medicaid. WE DO NOT ACCEPT UHC OR AETNA ON KANSAS MEDICAID. If your provider is not listed, feel free to contact our office to see if we accept your insurance.
Kansas City Kansas Dental Professionals will provide you with a detailed treatment plan during your initial appointment. This will include an estimate of out of pocket expenses for the recommended procedures. Insurance will typically pay a set amount or a percentage of these costs. You will be responsible for any remaining balance on the date the services are scheduled.
Payment options
Your estimated co pay will be collected the day services are scheduled.
For your convenience, we accept Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and either HSA or Flex spending account cards.
If you do not have dental insurance, we offer our Oral Health Savings plan. You must apply for these services prior to your visit to receive the discount. See our front desk staff for a brochure and pricing.
We also offer short and long term financing options through Lending tree for qualified candidates. Our staff can help you complete the application process.
Should a balance remain after insurance has paid, you will be billed for the amount due. Balances in excess of 60 days are subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month. Returned checks will be charged a $30 accounting fee.
